International Institute of the East Bay: Basic Legal Questions and Answers for Battered Immigrant Women
Services for immigrants, including women experiencing abuse. Specializes in aiding women who are being abused by US citizens or green card holders.

American Immigration Lawyers Association
Provides a lawyer referral service to private immigration attorneys. The association will provide individuals with the contact information for a lawyer, for no more than $100 for an initial half-hour consultation. During this consultation, you should ask the attorney what the rate will be for further services. All lawyers participating in the service are licensed to practice law in a state or territory of the United States.
